Overview
Tarangire National Park is famous for large elephant herds and iconic baobab landscapes on Tanzania's Northern Circuit. In the dry season, wildlife gathers along the Tarangire River, making game drives especially rewarding for elephants, lions, and birdlife.
The park is a smart add between Serengeti and Ngorongoro when you want fewer crowds and excellent photography light. Combine with Lake Manyara for tree-climbing lions, or browse Northern Circuit safari packages.
Most visits are one to two days depending on season and interests. Share your dates and lodge preference — our Arusha team will build a route with the right pacing and private guide. Request a quote or ask about safari + Zanzibar extensions.
