Overview
Mkomazi National Park is a remote, semi-arid reserve on Tanzania's northeastern border, known for black rhino conservation and sightings of African wild dog, giraffe, oryx, and rich dry-country birdlife. It offers a quieter alternative to busier Northern Circuit parks.
Mkomazi pairs well with Tarangire or a longer route through northern Tanzania when you want fewer vehicles and strong conservation story. Combine with Serengeti or start from Arusha — see safari packages for ideas.
Most visits are one to two days with guided game drives. Tell us your dates and wildlife priorities — we arrange permits, lodge options, and transfers from Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport. Contact Zamadam Adventure.
